ROMOLO is located in the area of Trastevere, between via Garibaldi and via della Lungara.
It’an historical place, “half mith half reality”. Margherita Luti, the famous Fornarina and mistress of Raphael, lived there.
The pictures of famous contemporary painters show the close connection of the figurative art with the Italian cookery.
Since 50’s artists, painters and politicians came here… …so the autographes book is a very special thing to see.
The restaurant, that contains about one hundred guests, is composed by connected rooms. When the weather is lovely, the inside garden could have 120 seats.
It’s surrounded by sixteenth century walls and it attracts tourists from all the world. Here a calm and quiet lunch or a dinner in a sweet summer night can have a special taste .
